Hiep Pham

As a serious entrepreneur, Hiep Pham is currently president and chief executive officer of SoarSpace, Inc. In 1998, Hiep Pham founded and served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of WIDCOMM, Inc. Within five years of operation, WIDCOMM has established itself as the leading global provider of Bluetooth software, systems and turnkey designs. By 2004, WIDCOMM® software was installed in nearly 100 end products from more than 80 customers. In May 2004, Broadcom (BRCM) acquired WIDCOMM Inc.
Mr. Pham previously held positions, including president of Uniden San Diego R&D Center, a division of the Uniden Japan and was an executive at Hughes Network Systems. He currently serves on the board of advisors for VSVN, Rocketalk, Infogation, Proximetry and Embience.
In June 2002, Hiep received Ernst & Young's prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award for founding and building WIDCOMM. Hiep was also recognized as one of the Southern California's BridgeGate 20 executives who make a measurable difference in the region's information technology and new media communities.
Hiep holds seven patents in wireless communications and has published numerous technical papers. He received a BS with Honors in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, MS in Electrical Engineering from Ottawa and attending MBA Johns Hopkins program.
